Casper Global Private Limited

Terms of Use

These interim Terms of Use govern the Oversea app and website, operated by Casper Global Private Limited, a Casper Wealth group company.

Interim terms

1.About these Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Oversea mobile application and related website (together, the “Platform”) and the services offered on it (the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

The Platform is operated by Casper Global Private Limited, (“Casper”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Oversea is a product of the Casper Wealth group.

These are interim Terms. We will replace them with a fuller version and tell you before the new version applies.

2.Invite-only access

The Platform is currently in a limited, invite-only phase. Only people we have invited may create an account. We may add, pause or remove access for any user during this phase.

You may use the Platform only if you:

  • are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract;
  • have received an invitation from us; and
  • are not barred from using the Services under any law that applies to you.

3.Your account

You may hold only one account. Keep your login details private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@overseawealth.com straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.

4.Identity checks

You sign up with your mobile number and a one-time password. To deliver a Service, we may ask on WhatsApp for the identity details and documents that Service needs. If we cannot verify your identity, we may decline or stop a Service.

The Platform is not available in some countries, including those on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) high-risk and monitored lists. We check the country you are signing up from using your IP address, and may refuse sign-up from those countries.

5.Your responsibilities

  • Give information that is true, complete and your own, and update it if it changes.
  • Do not impersonate anyone or submit someone else’s documents without their authority.
  • Review anything filed or submitted in your name before you approve it.
  • Follow the laws that apply to you, including Indian tax and foreign exchange (FEMA) rules.
  • Do not misuse, copy, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Platform.

False or incomplete information can lead to penalties from authorities. Those remain your responsibility.

6.Communication

By signing up, you agree that we may contact you by in-app notification, email, SMS, WhatsApp or phone about your account and Services. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time; service messages will continue while you have an account.

7.Ending your account

You can close your account by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account if these Terms are broken, if required by law, or when the invite-only phase ends. Work already submitted to a department, bank or Partner CA may continue under their own processes.

8.Disclaimers and liability

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We try to keep it accurate and running but do not promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions, delays or errors of government departments, banks or Partner CAs. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service concerned in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or gross negligence.

You agree to cover our reasonable losses if they arise from your breach of these Terms or from false information you provided.

9.Intellectual property

The Platform, its content and the Oversea name and logo belong to us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for your own purposes.

10.Changes

We may update these Terms or the Services. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using the Platform after that, the updated Terms apply.

11.Grievances and contact

If you have a complaint, contact our Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge it within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days, or sooner if the law requires.

12.General

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them to a group company or successor.
